“The Blond, fair skin.” Guero’s is a little shack located right up the street from Peacock’s. Go out the front door here at Casa Mario and turn left at Peacock’s. You’ll see it at the top of the hill.
Take this OFF the list of places to go. I don’t know what happened, but they moved across the street to new digs and apparently forgot every single thing that made them good. Prices literally doubled. Service was slow and inattentive. When the food finally came, the beans were actually cold, the tortillas for the tacos weren’t even warmed and the Spanish rice was plain white rice. We asked for the bill at that point, which took another ten minutes to produce. We paid the tab and left without eating—a first for me. There were four ladies working there at the time and only one other table with two people sitting there. First restaurant we have reviewed that has gone from good to worst in almost no time. It’s traditional Mexican fair served plainly but tastily, along with a cold brew, and priced so low you would be hard pressed to find a meal and a seat for less. Stop in, relax, let them take care of you and enjoy a real Mexican experience away from the all too tourist saturated market of Cabo San Lucas.. January 2013
