Gardenia’s
Gardenia's is located just around the corner from the house to the West on Paseo de la Marina, Gardenia’s is one of the few restaurants that goes way back, one of the oldest in town.
It’s a family run business that is open during the day, not the night. There is usually a special or two to try, and the staples of fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and if you are daring, chicharrone (pork rind)—our good friend Alex from Mexico City believes this to be the tastiest chicharrone he has ever had.The service is fast and friendly, the beer is cold, and the prices are reasonable. Tacos come with an excellent tray of condiments to spice them up.
